"To develop an inclusive, sustainable local community infrastructure to support republican ex-prisoners, displaced people and their families, enable them to fulfill their potential and actively participate in the regeneration of the community, increasing their educational and employability levels and status"

7 Main Objectives
- To establish contacts with like groups and organizations in the 32 Counties who have similar aims and objectives.
- Provide training and employment opportunities for republican ex-prisoners and displaced people to work within the collective ethos of Fáilte Abhaile.
- Provide resources and facilities, which will help republican prisoners during the pre and post release period.
- Provide a reference point, advice and information to republican prisoners during the pre and post release period.
- Link republican ex-prisoners and displaced people and their families with other agencies, where appropriate, and to support them making use of their services.
- Provide opportunities for republican ex-prisoners and displaced people and their families to share experiences and encourage the development of mutual support.
- To break down the feeling of isolation experienced by republican ex-prisoners, displaced persons in the Co. Louth area.
